First NAPPC Regional Meeting in Mexico
Each year the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign (NAPPC) joins together at an annual international conference focused on collaborative conservation. NAPPC's mission is to promote the health of pollinators in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Since 1997 NAPPC's 170+ members have made advancements for pollinators, people, and the planet.
This year, we are excited to announce that our partners at COESBIOH Hidalgo are hosting the very first regional NAPPC meeting. With the goal of strengthening trilateral collaboration for the protection of our vital pollinators, the Pollinator Partnership, through the North American Pollinator Protection Campaign (NAPPC), and the Hidalgo State Biodiversity Commission (COESBIOH), are organizing this symposium, which will bring together experts, researchers, and enthusiasts from Mexico, Canada, and the United States. The symposium seeks to generate a space for dialogue and knowledge exchange through keynote lectures addressing current challenges and the latest research on pollinator health in the three countries. Through interactive roundtable discussions, we seek to promote the creation of networks and strategic alliances that drive concrete actions in favor of pollinators in North America. This event is an open invitation to bring together the scientific community, government, universities, private sector, NGOs, and civil society interested in the conservation of these species essential to our ecosystems and food security.
